Well I've only been using it for a day but so far I like it and I like using it in more realistic scenarios. At the moment testing the settings it seems extremely versatile, especially with compact doors and colors. I was excited because my other video lights are very small, but I always change batteries. Being able to plug it in is really important to me as it's more like a studio light for a static location. When I first started taking pictures, I used a lot of steady light, especially Lowel Tota lights. One thing I really like here is that it's an LED, I don't have to worry about the bulb going out and I feel like it takes a little more beating than this. So for a school this would be a great option, especially for the price. Plus that it's great for video is definitely a plus. This can be a great learning tool. As a professional photographer already using the Godox brand, I really like that the Bowens mount is used, making all my flash accessories useful. And since it's an LED, hopefully it won't overheat in softboxes. Which I tried on my return to Godox, and it was relatively cool inside even at 45C operating temp. better. A sensor to know more intuitively if it's getting too hot would be nice. But this accuracy is better than most, which I think is an amazing quality. The barn doors and colors are very easy to apply, I feel very comfortable changing them even on the first try which I can't say about most accessories. I'm glad the light is bright enough to really show at least some of the modifiers. Waste with a standard reflector isn't great, but a simple upgrade, especially with a softbox, will solve this problem. But definitely something you need to know as a pro. The light could have been used without a softer roll-off modifier, and I feel safe considering there aren't any $500 bulbs sticking out. With a can of Stripes and a Godox mesh I get a much nicer, more even light, I'm very happy with it. Sometimes I like to take photos with my phone and it's really nice to have a nice light to take photos with my phone. Very liberating as a professional photographer who loves strobe lights. I think it would be great for YouTubers with a studio setup. As I said, being able to use the softboxes and modifiers I already have is a huge plus. It would be nice if 1. There was some sort of accessory pocket and a way to attach the remote to the flashlight itself. I think I could solve this problem with a little velcro for the remote and maybe a little canvas bag for the rest.2. The remote had the same functions as the back and vice versa. All in all, this is an amazing continuous light that can easily be added to boost a professional photographer's strobe kit. Or great for schools, YouTubers, or anyone who just wants to play with continuous lighting, especially if you're interested in experimenting with modifiers.
