The plastic frame around the phone is quite thin. As long as you do your best to be careful and take your time, you should be fine. Once you slip it into the silicone case, it feels pretty darn solid. As another said. Get a tempered glass screen protector and ditch the one that came with this case. I bought it because an old brand I used to buy (very similar to this one) stopped making the three piece design. Time will tell how durable this case is, but the design has noticeably degraded. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. I read most of the reviews before buying and had an idea of what I was getting into. Note to manufacturer - please place the tab on the blue tape. I couldn't remove the blue film until I removed the built in protective film. This is a design flaw that needs to be fixed.
