I only use this monitor for work (coding, reading articles, analyzing data and generating hard numbers) and rarely for watching movies and videos. Especially at this price point (under $300) I think at the time of writing this review there was nothing to beat. After a few months of using it at work I got two more, one for home and one for the office. The monitor is easy to assemble, scales well on Mac OS High Sierra and Mojave, Windows 10 and Linux (only tried Ubuntu). The base is solid and I really like that it rotates easily. The panel is matte enough for my sensitive eyes to be comfortable, and the colors are fairly accurate. The connection options are also diverse. There are only two downsides that I don't particularly care about. First, it has a noticeable response time when waking up (5 - 10 seconds), but once it wakes up, it works fine. Second, I've only seen this on a 2018 Mac Mini - so it's probably a Mac Mini issue, not LG - sometimes it won't connect after the computer wakes up unless I turn off/disconnect it the first monitor and wake up Turn on the computer and then connect/turn on the monitor. I also haven't tried connecting it to multiple computers simultaneously, so I won't comment on its performance, but for non-gaming purposes with a single computer it's definitely a 'yes' monitor; I don't have any comments for games as I'm not a gamer.
