confusing size - need something between S and M

Super soft and beautiful fabric, easy to use! My only complaint is that I bought 2 of these due to fit issues and the M is too big on the tightest setting while the S is too small on the largest setting. I would have thought the sizes might overlap in at least one setting, but there seems to be a missing size in between. If in doubt I would recommend the larger size as the tags/materials rub uncomfortably under the front clips on the smaller size.
