This all metal arm was a welcome addition to my Artillery Sidewinder X1 with Titan clone extruder. Although I've never had a plastic lever break, several people have complained that the original plastic lever often breaks. So I figured it would be best to grab one and install it as a precaution. It works just like the original, although not 100%. Update: I've made about 200 prints with it since installing it. It still works fine. Having not replaced it due to issues, I did not notice and did not expect any improvement in print quality. But it's clearly all metal and much more durable than the original. I think it lasts a lot longer than plastic. I noticed signs of wear on the plastic that I had removed. This metal is unlikely to break like plastic. The price was also right for this metal replacement. I suggest you spend some time watching a youtube video or something about replacing extruder parts first, as this is not a quick or easy replacement and requires moderate knowledge of what you are replacing. If you don't carefully disassemble and reassemble this extruder, worse problems may occur. I am very happy with this part and think it should help those who keep breaking their plastic levers.
