I'm not sure if the older version of these were made super tiny causing previous buyers to size up so much, but currently it fits as expected and like the model in the photo. I'm 5'6, 154lbs and ordered the medium. It is oversized without looking bulky, and the length hits mid/upper thigh area. I'm naturally a hot bodied person and a Texas girl, where we all know it doesn't get super cold. Thus I wanted something to keep me covered without needing a bulky heavy jacket and this fit the bill perfectly. Material is thin so don't expect a winter coat, but it is essentially wearing a super comfy blanket in jacket form to keep those mild texas shivers away.
