Stop looking! for accessories and accessories

I have M-Audio DSM speakers because I bought a pair on sale before M-Audio stopped making them. Well I didn't want them on my computer desk because they are HUGE so I looked for a better alternative. The problem with most solutions is that they don't CAPTURE the speaker and I didn't want to worry about the speakers falling off. You see, M-AUDIO and I'm sure countless other speakers have rounded edges and are quite wide. The Recelco mount seemed fine, but I was still in the "believe it when you see it" camp. I couldn't find a stud near where I wanted to hang my 30 pound speakers and the plastic studs do the job. If you don't use a bolt, buy longer screws with plastic anchors. The clamping mechanism is complicated as it is based on screws. , tighten enough, then switch sides until you can tighten as tight as you can. - Home Depot sells duct tape that works in place of the stuff that comes on it to hold the speaker in place. Once installed with the above options it has held up with no problems. I've had my big round speakers for over six months now. I like that you can tilt the speakers down a bit if you place them above ear level. They look nice with a lid and are more than robust. Even without the changes I made above to most normal speakers they will work, but if you have big weird speakers like me I'll take an extra moment and make the changes I made! You don't want to worry about your expensive speakers falling! Good product. BTW, I've gone to Tiger Direct, Best Buy, and Target and couldn't find anything that good, so save your time!
