Not as advertised! :(

So I was really excited about this listing of what I bought. The picture clearly shows that they rotate. This shows the mount rotates! That's not the case , the bracket it's welded and can't move. The speaker is rotated on the arm so they show the hinges. Name like a swivel! That was the only main reason I bought this set so I could get the speaker out Can be removed from the support for aesthetic reasons They are good , well finished but without the function advertised they are no better than…

High quality mount for heavier bookshelf speakers

I did a lot of research before deciding on these mounts and am glad I did. You are really strong. I installed my Klipsch RP-160Ms on it as surround back speakers. They're pretty heavy, 22 pounds I think. I was concerned that with all the bass I thump from a 15" subwoofer, some cheap mounts might fail. I don't think they will be a problem. There are 3 screws that you can drill about 1/4 inch into the speaker for extra security. I used them although I was reluctant to damage the speaker…

Nice mount for my A5+

Pros: The metal arm that attaches to the wall is solid and the side clamp arms are also metal and feel solid. The leg that connects the speaker stand to the mounting arm is plastic and seems fine, but I wasn't thrilled that it was plastic (everything else is metal). The brackets *kinda* hold my A5+ speakers, but I'm not sure I fully trust whoever holds the ones with the amp and other electronics - it wobbles a bit, and I'm not entirely comfortable with that Things might loosen up a bit…

Decent, could be better.

You should have ditched the Philips/Flathead hybrid screws and just used the deep Philips head. Luckily I have a lot of screws at home. You are terrible. There is no way to secure it, they must include double sided tape or something else so I left them for now, might pick up a sticky velcro to secure them on the go but for now they just hang in place. Seams will be a problem for all brands. The side clips need to be larger, if I were to sell this they would be at least 3 inches. Not sure why…

Good mounting brackets but too expensive

Bought these to wall mount a pair of 8lb Polk Audio (surround sound) speakers. They're pretty easy to install if you have the right tools - nail finder, drill/screwdriver, good screws. You definitely want to mount the backplate on a stud. The screws that come with it are not that good. I could use them - almost - without removing my head. I recommend going to a hardware store to get better quality screws. I installed the speakers without tilting them down, so I can't comment on the stability of

Clamps work great - no drilling required!

I read many reviews on several products before deciding to try this one. Some reviewers have mentioned that the clips alone don't provide enough strength that you don't have to drill holes in the speaker and use security screws. Since this was the only product I found that didn't require drilling, I decided to give it a try. What a great solution! The clamps tightened as tightly as I needed and the speakers didn't even move. Also, judging by the reviews, I was a bit concerned that the depth of…

Pros
  • PRECISE POSITIONING: The brackets can be tilted up or down 7° and rotated 180° for perfect speaker and speaker placement.

Stop looking! for accessories and accessories

I have M-Audio DSM speakers because I bought a pair on sale before M-Audio stopped making them. Well I didn't want them on my computer desk because they are HUGE so I looked for a better alternative. The problem with most solutions is that they don't CAPTURE the speaker and I didn't want to worry about the speakers falling off. You see, M-AUDIO and I'm sure countless other speakers have rounded edges and are quite wide. The Recelco mount seemed fine, but I was still in the "believe it when you…
