I gave an extra star because it was cheap when I bought it. It's not the highest quality, but you're not paying for the highest quality. The most important thing to know is that in order for this product to get a 3 or 4 star rating, you have to make sure you never lose your remote control. If you are not sure about this, there are 2 or 3 stars. Compared to my old Insignia, which was about $5 cheaper, this one was significantly less durable. Note. I'm not saying they're flimsy, especially considering their price, but I prefer wearable products that are rigid and I doubt they'll hold up to many suitcases, hikes, or children's hands. By far the biggest problem is that this thing depends almost entirely on. On-device controls are limited, clunky, and awkward to use. If that's not a problem for you, please rate my review above a full star, but if like me you have a device nearby and the remote control is almost impractical or you think you might lose it (and it's small ) device becomes much less useful. know you're in
