Because kids grow up so fast, I wanted something that CAN do more than one summer, and the hay IS! I got it last summer when my LO was 6 months old (see purple and teal plaid). I liked that I could snugly fit the hat around her head and the drawstring under her chin kept it from being blown away by the wind or from being removed. It was a bit flexible so we had to fold the top edge over her face so she could see, but that didn't bother me at all. Fast forward 1 year (see photo with pink jacket), it still suits her and she LOVES it. ! I still have room to loosen it up a bit, which I love. Maybe we can make another year out of it. She loves wearing hats so we don't have to force her to wear them. The adjustable chin strap is great for keeping your hat in place through all your adventures and windy weather. He's definitely a better fit for her now and isn't as flexible as it seemed last year. Gray is a beautiful light gray color. The material is comfortable and soft. It creases fairly easily but it's a hat so who cares. GET THIS HAT!
