They fill well and fold easily under the bed. They are not used to store building tools, but clothes and can be used for light children's toys. They are made from the same simple fabric that most woven grocery bags are made from, so I would be careful about placing sharp objects in them. They are spacious and allow you to easily store children's winter clothes under the bed.
