This fleece sweater is one of those things that should be in every boy's or girl's wardrobe. This is the one to take if you think the weather might turn chilly. The zipper doesn't run the length of the fleece, only about 6 inches or so. The fleece is quite soft. The instructions say to machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and do not tumble dry. I washed it about a week ago and I'm pretty sure I misread the instructions and put it in the dryer on low and it came out fine. I don't remember it being just air dried. In any case, I'll be following the instructions from now on just in case. If you're just looking for a basic fleece to keep you warm, this is a great choice.
