I have a small ironing shop and have looked everywhere for excellent starch. After playing around with every strength available, I finally found this! I started by mixing 1/3 starch with 2/3 water and dampening the clothes with a spray bottle before ironing and it worked. THEN I decided to mix 1/2 starch and 1/2 water in a large bucket (I used the whole jug of starch) and after taking the shirts out of the wash, soaked them in this solution, wrung them out and hung them them on high. air dry overnight. worked wonders! As I ironed the shirts they softened a bit, but the end result was always fresh and beautiful. If someone wants the shirt to be heavier or lighter starched, I just change the starch to water ratio in the bucket. I can seal the bucket and reuse the solution later if the batch hasn't used it up and it stays very good. I can't live without this stuff!
