Fun watercolor nail polish set with 7 different colors to choose from. This technique definitely requires some practice (like many others like 9D cat eye, nail transfer foil, etc.). Please note that the kit does NOT include a gel polish base or top coat, only aqueous nail polishes and clear #8 gel (which isn't really a gel but more like alcohol) to give a watery/marbled design . .Be VERY careful with the bottles as they contain liquid (nowhere near a liquid product like regular nail polish). Accidentally dropping it will create a huge mess around the area. Since it was my first time using these watercolors, I tested them on my nail samples: 4 different colors, 2 using method 1 (white base color > blooming nail > clear gel > top coat) and 2 using method 2 (white base color > matte top coat) layer > blooming nail > clear gel #8 > top layer). I think I've had better results using method 2 when applying a matte finish (blue and pink). Also, I've found that the results are better if I apply #8 Clear Gel, let it dry, and then do some more design. Again, this definitely takes some practice and patience, but overall I think it's a different way to have fun. Nail design (very smelly so make sure to do this in a ventilated area).
