I was hoping to run our old but excellent Bose system speakers with subwoofer without manually plugging in a smartphone via the AUX jack. It worked. Just plug in, connect via Bluetooth. It's that easy! I'm so happy I can lie in bed and wirelessly control my music from my phone. The power adapter is about 5 feet long, which was enough for our needs. A few minor issues: * You have to keep the speakers on, so even with the music turned off, there's a barely audible hum in the air. This is probably a limitation of our speakers, not the controller, but it's something to consider!* Bright status light - we had it on our dresser and you wouldn't believe how much ambient light the status light puts out. I don't know why all of these devices don't use red or orange light as they can disrupt sleep patterns and I generally find them annoying. I put some dark tape on it and solved the problem.* The soft rubber cover with large NFC coverage looks good when you get it, but collects dust and looks dirty. None of these issues have anything to do with the feature, which (for a Bluetooth device) was pretty good and reliable. I'm totally happy I got it.
