Put this in my kitchen (my counters are blue pearl granite, but basically look black unless you're standing right next to them) in a very prominent place to help clean up the clutter around my laptop area, and it looks fantastic! I also bought the 3 shelf unit to match; the only thing I didn't like about the printer stand was that since it is deep enough to hold the printer, the paper kind of disappeared into the cavities for it. Solved that easily & cheaply by going to Wallyworld and buying 2 pieces of flower arrangement foam & trimming them down with an electric carving knife to fit in the back of both cavities - voila! now the paper stays neatly where I can get to it!
