I am 80 years old so my hearing is quite imperfect. I wanted to be able to understand the news on my computer without having to constantly read subtitles. I tried a couple of Logitech speakers but the sound was fuzzy and muddy, although they varied a bit. So I switched to these Prosonics - and they are amazing! I can boost the highs and eliminate most of the bass so the vocals are clear and loud enough. I love the sound quality and they are very stylish (I prefer white cases to the usual black ones). And they integrated easily into my desktop. Good product!
