Our 12 year old mix really caught on with these outdoor and food knobs - and I'm not that interested in other knobs. Being blind in one eye, I appreciate the bright colors and the voice commands are a little loud at first; However, she quickly got used to loud commands and is no longer intimidated by them. The video helped me learn. We use the "Use your words" prompt when she gets nervous and forgets to ask for what she wants. My only suggestions for improvement: the pads on the bottom don't hold the buttons very well on a smooth surface, and it can be difficult for small dogs to press hard enough to activate the sound.
