My wife and I shared a desk and monitor for a few years, but we had separate wireless mice and keyboards. I bought this KVM switch so we could use my keyboard as it was cheap. Basically it works. I'm using a Logitech 800 series backlit wireless keyboard. Input through kvm works as expected, but special function keys like media playback or a calculator shortcut (which worked with a transceiver plugged directly into my computer) don't work through this kvm. I'm wondering if these kinds of features will work if we use a wired keyboard, but I don't want to spend money on experiments. In and of itself, kvm is good value for money if you don't want any special features. aforementioned. UPDATE: Today - almost three months from the day I received it - when I tried to use the switch, I found that the USB connector on port 1 stopped working. I contacted Revain but as the 30 day return policy had expired I was told I would have to contact the manufacturer. I have contacted the manufacturer (they are based in China) and will update if/when this is fixed. UPDATE 2: After being disconnected from everything for most of the day, the Switch is now working again. I'm not sure what it is, but it works, so I'm fine.
