Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Ultimate Athletic Comfort: Adidas Alphabounce Slide Sport Sandal Men's Shoes by Vishal Geske

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incredible consolation, I hope they do this forever.

I bought these to replace a pair of Cloudfoam slides that ended up being too flat. I already had the Alphabounce and Alphabounce RC2 shoes so I thought this would be a good bet. First, the strap is soft so as not to rub the top of the foot. The cleats on the insole looked intimidating, I already had those "massaging" Adidas Slides nails. I am happy to report that the combs are soft but not flexible. In fact, they feel very good. Sometimes I curl my toes just to feel the sensation the combs give. Do not judge me. I'm also impressed with the contour of the insole. It keeps you right under your toes and has decent heel support for gliding. The sole is one piece so it will probably wear out first, but at least it won't fall apart. The tread design is stunning, which at this price point is a bit disappointing when compared to Alphabounce's wavy tread pattern and road tire rubber of the same name. I always wear slippers instead of shoes at home and this is the first pair to blur the line. They're stiff enough that I can make quick movements (like dodge a cat or step over a lego) and don't want to bend or roll, yet are soft, snug, and supportive. Most slides either want to be hard or soft or rip at the seams because, my god, you've moved sideways. Overall, I highly recommend them, but of course I try to find them at a reasonable price. Maybe I'm lucky but I rarely watch them or below the price I bought them for.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
