The idea is great, the implementation could be improved.

I bought this to stop the brake fluid when the caliper is removed for repair. With the line stopper fully open and the spring fully compressed, there was just enough clearance between the tip of the line stopper (U-notch) around the brake hose and the rubber plug covering the end of the brake hose. . It has been stretched to the absolute maximum. (Front brake line BMW 3 Series E90). The upper plastic part broke off under tension. The idea is great, but the product should have a slightly longer opening range. Especially for automotive brake lines, due to size difference, only ONE of them will work for you.
