Torn foil can be dangerous
The strap holds up well and I liked it the first time I hung it up, but the rubber foil tore on the back wall resulting in my horse swallowing the plastic pieces along with the hay. This is the potential for colic. It's really a shame. In the end I took a scraper and completely removed the skin. It also works without.
