I took it with me on a month long trip to Europe and it was perfect to take with me. everything I needed and nothing more - never got too heavy. - passport and cover in back pocket - it rained in Italy, wallet is still in great condition and contents are dry - fits in my Nikon d3500 with soft case, plus charger and my extra lens (70-300) in it - - - folded scarf , umbrella or small water bottle in the middle open pocket --- Samsung Note9 phone on the front, charging cable, lip balm, tickets and other miscellaneous items. Article on the front zipper. Endures a lot. I still use it every day. Only downside is the zipper prevents you from further adjusting the straps, not a big deal but I'm small and wish it was different on my back, but the straps only make it so much easier to put on and take off instead of it having trouble getting his arms out. So 50/50 for and against straps.
