Review on ๐Ÿš— Bilstein 24248129 Shock Absorber: Premium Suspension Enhancement for a Smoother Ride by Juan Gomez

Aligned and looking good!

I installed Bilstein 5100 front and rear shocks on my 2017 F-150 SCREW. The truck is now much tighter to drive and the front end is reduced to a minimum. Uses the 2.1" setup on the front wheels and the truck appears to be much larger. Added 285/80/17 Nitto Ridge Grappler simultaneously. I decided not to do the fronts myself and asked a local shop I've been going to for 20 years to do the job. They are mostly tire shops so I felt comfortable when they got the job done even though they had never installed one like this before. I was billed for 4.5 hours of work. Seems a bit long but I know the job is done right and they gave me a good discount on the new Ridge grapples. In general I am very satisfied with the product. The only complaint I have is that the front shock absorbers were sent to me together in the original packaging. The package arrived and both shock absorbers were worn through the box. Inspected, no damage, all parts present. The seller should have put them in a different box to better protect them in transit.

Pros
  • Cool stuff
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
