We bought 2 of these pumps to pump tartar sauce from 1 gallon cans on our grilled fish dishes. We were very happy with their work. Very convenient and better for customers than other methods we tried. The length of the tube is a little short, but when it becomes so short, we collect the contents of other jars. I suppose I could go to a good hardware store and buy a length of longer food tube to get to the bottom, but it will never be able to empty the entire contents of the jar unless the bottom of the Glass is tapered (which I never did). can be seen in gastronomy products). This is the best price around. Many restaurant vendors sell San Jaymar pumps, but not all are large enough (P7410) to handle tartar sauce. I recommend this to other organizers of meatless fish dinners. Saves time, helps reduce the amount of excess dispensing customers take compared to other methods we use, easy assembly, very efficient dispensing for quick customer use and easy to keep clean. It didn't drip or worry us. I'm sure it will be different for different liquids or emulsions depending on the viscosity. I might try this for pumping syrup onto our breakfast pancakes, but I'll have a dripper/catch at the bottom.
