I've been using Brita filter jugs for many years and while happy with the filtration process I hated plastic jugs. Despite regular cleaning, they have become an eyesore on my worktop. Also, they start to leak around the handle. I needed an attractive jug with good filtration so after reading the reviews I reluctantly ordered this one. I've had it for a few days and so far I'm loving it! It looks great on my countertop, the water tastes great, it's very easy to use and I love that the filter bags aren't encased in plastic so there's less waste which is better for the environment. No rust yet as per other reviews. I'll update this review if anything changes, but for now I think it's a great find!
