I bought them for Halloween, I figured they would become play dress-up shoes. They are very shiny, very sparkly, and surprisingly quite durable. My daughter trashed her Disney dress up shoes in days. I absolutely loved doing this book nook. It is for my daughter for christmas who is an author. You need to have some knowledge of crafts. I feel someone who never does any crafting will find it a little frustrating. But it can be done. My biggest complaint is the instructions are not clear cut. Common sense takes over that. These definitely don't live up to the product's suppossed photograph. In reality, maybe half of them are so-so/OK. The other half are all or mostly plain, ugly gray, some with a few tiny flects of blue, but not enough to change the overall effect from boring gray. Also, some of them are clearly rejects, having been drilled twice, and showing a first, broken-out hole along with the second hole, which makes them look very cheap. Poorly painted with white acrylic paint smeared on highlights. Paint wipes off with damp paper towel. These were listed at silver colored. They are not silver at all. Based on our own experience this scarf was disappointing in terms of quality .The feathers looked cheap and fell out easily. The silver color was also uneven and showed signs of tarnishing after only a few uses. The only positive was that the scarf was lightweight and comfortable to wear. Always favored ceramic, but took a chance on porcelain. Good choice. And the right move. Much lighter and seems just as durable. No flaws on the front of back of this product. One of my leather cushions had two rips in it from the kids. I needed something to cover it up and make it look better without extra rips occurring. These covers were great. I have very large/thick cushions that are at the top of the cover's size dimensions, but they fit great! Lots of stretch in it. They seem to stay on well and haven't come off yet. I recommend.
