What to Know good for me

After reading way more information on XL elevated dog food bowls than I ever wanted to, I decided on this XL bowl for my lg dog due to the ergonomic design. Once received, it didn’t look like a standard bowl. It slants forward & so does the actual metal bowl. The unique roundish bowl has a rubber or silicone seal underneath the rim which does a good job of holding the bowl in place while your dog dines. The seal works well, it doesn’t move nor make any unnecessary noise which other reviewers…

Great dog bowl for our Shih Tzu

Our Shih Tzu really enjoys his bowl. I like it to because it washes up great by hand or in the dishwasher. I did buy the bigger size for him after reading other reviews. I’m glad I did. Charlie is happy and so are we.

Perfect for my flat faced Boston Terrier

Boston Terriers have a flat face so eating out of a deep dog dish can be difficult. Before I bought this bowl I watched my dog hold his old bowl with a paw and move his kibble up the straight side of his bowl.The slanted bowl makes eating his meals much easier and with less stress.

The size small is for a small cat

I am returning it for a larger size for my JRT dog .Messy eater and I ordered the small and it is too small. Looking forward to reorder because I love the design of this dish!

Almost perfect on my review.

Just wish bowl wS a little taller. I purchased 2, and stacked the bases to raise it higher for my 18 year old cat. It appears taller in pic. The stainless steel bowls not as shallow as I thought they would be. I use her old dish onto of stacked bases. Makes it much easier for her to eat comfortably.

Needed something new for our Shih Tzu for his meals. Love the way it tilts at the right angle for his meals. Easier for him to eat from with head up instead of down.

These are very nice, they're not too big they offer lots of options as far as color. An affordable.

It's a little difficult to get the dishes out to clean but I like look of them so it's a trade off. My cat seems to enjoy them best thing is there's no mess from the cable anymore my cat would always push it over the edge.

It’s not “mess free”

I bought this very expensive bowl because I’m desperate for an actual "mess free” feeding option. See picture for evidence that it is, in fact, not mess free. Dog still nudges food out of bowl and licks it up off the mat or floor.

Definitely helps with the mess

I bought two. One for each pug. Now I opted to get large bowls since their little heads are wide. I figure if they felt it was too small, they would not be comfortable while eating from them. I put their dry food in it and heaven knows the old bowls allowed a mess to happen . These are not mess free but it is a great improvement.

A bit small for my opinion

I ordered this for our English Bulldog. I read where it is supposed to be better for them to use a tilted bowl. As others mentioned, the bowl is small-although I knew that going in. I just couldn't spring for the larger one which was a lot more money. I have not had any problems with the bowl. It slips out when I want to clean it but not when the dog is eating. It is not heavy weight and the bottom rubber pieces are small. I keep it on a feeding mat so it does not slide. Overall I am pleased…

Just what we needed

This s great for our Frenchie who's smushed nose can't reach to the bottom of flat bowls.The stainless is easy to clean and the study base doesn't move around while he eats.There's a ring gasket underneath the stainless bowl that doesn't quite fit fully on it, but that doesn't seem to interfere with the functionality.

CH Kitten Approved good for me

I have six cats and 3 dogs, all normal sized. The Chihuahuas are smaller than the cats. Just putting this down for size reference.My latest adoption is a moderate CH kitten, at the time of this review 5 months old and about 3 1/2 lbs vs. the other cats topping at 8 lbs. After reading the reviews, I went with the medium size, and I’m glad I did. It’s the perfect size for my wobbly child with room to grow. I don’t even know how the small size of this bowl can work for anything but a squirrel…
