2 yo Chihuahua Approved

My youngest Chihuahua feels her job in life is to strictly to destroy all toys. She loves toys but to destroy them is heavenly or therapy for her I just know it costs me a fortune to replace. First of all this is small, like maybe 4 in long and in many ways looks like a baby toy but she has worked on it a week and still has not destroyed it. She can destroy a toy in less than an hour. Highly recommended. I will probably purchase another if this one starts looking too bad.

Pros
  • Recommended. My puppy is an aggressive chewer and has yet to tear this up yet.
Cons
  • Easy to lose

Really cute but not really for any dog that has teeth did not last at all. Our puppy was able to get bits and pieces off of this cute toy in no time, Happily he is good when asked to drop it and he did not choke on any of the pieces of the Fabricare which were the first to come off. Possibly if a really young puppy had this with hardly any teeth they would last longer

Pros
  • Immediately adores it.
Cons
  • Contains plastic and may not be environmentally friendly

A true Survivor! - my new review

I have a 3 lb Cho, now entering her 5 month. I’ve noticed she has finally lost her incisors! When I initially saw this toy, I rolled my eyes, thinking- this may last all of 11/2 weeks.4 months later- with razor sharp shark teeth, I am happy to report, this and the antler bones are the lone survivors, of this wretched period of teething stage! Not Tiger, not Ele, not a single squeaky anything has outlived these little teething fiend.I love to pieces, don’t get me wrong- I totally get it- but…

Pros
  • Puppy loved chewing on the strings. Well worth the money
Cons
  • Limited color options

When this arrived, it appeared to be little more than a sliver of material covering what sounds like rustling paper. However after I put it in the freezer, it came out cool but not freezing my hand to the touch, but my little 5 month old lady has throughly enjoyed chewing this with wild abandon as it must really feel good to her teething gums while cold, as she leaves it alone once it becomes room temperature. It is still holding up very well to repeatedly freezing/chewing rituals so it is well

Pros
  • Puppy has fun
Cons
  • Too soft for a teething toy.

Puppy Loves best in my review

I always buy these when I get a new puppy. They last through puppy hood & are great for teething. My adult dogs even like chewing on them from. Now and then.

Pros
  • Toys
Cons
  • Could be pricey for what it offers

She loves them! good for me

These are great for puppies. We’ve had them for about 2 months and they’re still going strong. Our girl is a BIG chewer! Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Unique shape and texture provide a satisfying chewing experience for small puppies
Cons
  • May not satisfy aggressive chewers

Pleasently Surprised!

I have to say I thought this thing was going to be really lame but my 8 week old golden retriever puppy really likes it. It is perfect for a a puppy or dog with a really small mouth. He like the crinkle and little ribbons type things in his mouth and just attacks it. And it’s nice to have at least one non noisy toy that does not have an ear piercing squeak toy inside! Haha Haven’t tried freezing it but I bet he will like that too.

Pros
  • It is designed to alleviate pain and discomfort associated with teething in dogs
Cons
  • Could break easily

Tags come off! best in my review

I wanted to like this much more then I do. We adopted a 3 month old Boxer mix puppy (about 20 lbs so far) and she likes this toy when it’s frozen, however she was able to chew off the tags/ strings very easily (like within a few days of getting this toy once to twice a day). We had to cut off all the rest so she doesn’t swallow them. We can still use it, but it just wasn’t durable enough for our little chewer.

Pros
  • Provides a great interactive platform for pet owners and dogs to bond
Cons
  • Could be too heavy for smaller dogs

I made it better.: my feedback

I didn’t have much hope for the longevity of these toys when I opened the package. Maybe if they were made of different fabric, or used tighter stitching. Regardless, this is what I did to the blue toy with the fabric strings since the strings came out of the toy rather quickly. My dog was starting to chew at the blue plastic and I was concerned that she would eat any pieces that came off.I took 6 shoe strings and pushed them together through the hole. I tied a knot on both sides (one side…

Pros
  • The toy prevents destructive behavior by satisfying your dog's urge to chew
Cons
  • The scent may not last long enough to keep the dog interested

My teething pup loves it.

I would soak it in cold water and then freeze it. My pup tore it up fast. My suggestion is that the makers of this toy NOT to use ribbon. Kai had the ribbons shredded in short order. Kai will destroy anything chews on my fav bedspread. 😞Guess I’m shopping for a new bedspread and whatever else next year when he’ll be done chewing on everything.

Pros
  • Perfect for my new puppy
Cons
  • Might not provide enough mental stimulation

Bad quality in my review

My dog loves this toy after 10 mins of play my 2lb puppy started chocking on it and then I noticed it’s bc it’s falling apart already.

Pros
  • Keeps him busy less fussy
Cons
  • The cooling aspect may not work effectively

Dog's favorite teething toy

We have a medium goldendoodle and this is her favorite teething toy. We freeze it after each use. It seemed like it wouldn't last long due to the frilly things at the end but it is surprisingly holding up well.

Pros
  • Washes well. Great size. Long lasting.
Cons
  • Not durable enough for aggressive chewers

The charming & cool teething stick

is better for pets who are teething in spring, summer or fall. This crazy 2022 winter made it hard to offer a puppy a coldteething stick when it was 40 degrees outside. In spite of that,my puppy still plays with the unfrozen stick.

Pros
  • The toy encourages good oral hygiene practices for your dog
Cons
  • Not useful for long-term distractions

My kittens didn't get into these

So, these have 'dog' in the title, but some reviewers noted they got these for their cats, so that is why I ordered them. I tried them with one of my kittens who likes to bite - he appears to perhaps be having more gum tenderness with teething than my other kitten (based on how he loves to just bite on a double wool sock toy that I made for him). He never once put these in his mouth. I usually find that my cats need to see me play WITH a new toy with the cat a few times to introduce a new toy…

Pros
  • It provides challenging chewing experience for your pup
Cons
  • Could be difficult to locate when misplaced

A Must Buy ! for my opinion

Bought this for my 2 month old French bull dog mix beagle. She has very sharp baby teeth, one nip and draws blood. She is now 19 weeks old. Most of her baby teeth are gone. Every morning after eating and going outside for her business I get this chew toy out of the freezer. She sits on my lap and chews on this for about an hour. The ribbons are still intact. There are holes in the ribbons but not shredded. She has a chew rope which she pulls out the yarn and tries to eat. She is an aggressive…

Pros
  • The teething stick can help your dog to cope with anxiety and stress
Cons
  • Could get stuck under furniture or other objects

Not so "cool " good for me

I was attracted to the "cooling" effect. The toy didn't do much in the freezer. It's cute and perfect for a little dog. My dog played with it, but didn't love it.

Pros
  • The cool teething stick is lightweight and easy to carry around
Cons
  • May not provide enough mental stimulation for intelligent breeds

Very tiny. best in my review

It is very tiny and has little strips of ribbons sticking out. We shall see if it lasts or my puppy ends up trying to eat them. I will update my review later.

Pros
  • About the same size as my baby. She attacks it! So cute. Will be bookmarking this item. Thanks.
Cons
  • May not withstand extreme temperatures

Teething puppy! best in my review

My puppy is almost 3 months old and has started teething. She loves this especially from the freezer! Only complaint is that it tears really easily and doesn’t last. You get what you pay for, but the rubber ones will do for the future. I really wanted this to work long term!

Pros
  • It is suitable for dogs of different sizes and breeds
Cons
  • May not be appealing to dogs with chewing preferences

Dog is obsessed on my review.

My dog loves to chew on drawstrings on our pajamas so for his birthday I bought him this and he loves it. It crinkles too which is his favorite toy sound!

Pros
  • The Pet Stages Cool Teething Stick is affordable
Cons
  • Might not help with teething pain

Love those ribbons!

I have a 3 month old rat terrier. He loves ribbons and tags and such. When I purchased this, I was buying it because of the ribbons and the price. When I got it I realized it was made to be frozen and help with teething. We tried soaking and freezing it a couple times, but really didn’t see the benefit, and it was really kind of messy. So now we use it as a dry toy. He’s played hard with it for over a month and, though it’s showing some wear, it’s still in one piece! I gave it four stars over…

Pros
  • My 10month puppy loves her new toy. She brings it to me all the time to play with her.
Cons
  • May not last long with aggressive chewers
