I have six cats and 3 dogs, all normal sized. The Chihuahuas are smaller than the cats. Just putting this down for size reference.My latest adoption is a moderate CH kitten, at the time of this review 5 months old and about 3 1/2 lbs vs. the other cats topping at 8 lbs. After reading the reviews, I went with the medium size, and I’m glad I did. It’s the perfect size for my wobbly child with room to grow. I don’t even know how the small size of this bowl can work for anything but a squirrel maybe? A single squirrel at that.This medium bowl though? Perfect. His food is always in the center and the bowl and stand don’t move, especially when he loses his balance. He still spills some, but that can’t be helped if you’re a handicat.His previous bowls also fit in the stand, so I can put a fresh bowl into the hand wiped stand and the dirty in the dishwasher.The elevated nonslip stand and gravity powered bowl make this combo a perfect utensil for my little CH cat. I’m thrilled, and he is, too!
