Review on Kirby Sentria Vacuum Cleaner Shampoo Tank Suds Filter Cover by Lisa Jones

Not compatible with 3rd Gen Kirby! I have a G3D model. I read somewhere that Kirby stopped making foam for the 3rd gen but decided to give it a try since the reviewer said it works with all models. It's not like this. I hate that now I have to buy the whole container just because that little piece is missing. Not a pretty Kirby. :(Update: As a last resort, since the foam cap didn't fit in the socket it was supposed to plug into, my husband put it in the connecting hose instead, but turned it the other way and it totally worked for washing carpet 5"x7". and two 8"x10" rugs! I can't get the foam cap off now even though it's stuck but at least it works and we'd still have to throw out the whole bin. Just flip over it and into the grey We use it until we really have to buy all the attachments.
