I'm starting with a problem with Windows 10. It took me a few hours to get this camera working before I came across a youtube video that suggested a working solution. By default, Windows 10 privacy settings are set to block USB webcams and microphones. Here is the unlock procedure. 1) Click Start button 2) Click Settings 3) Click Privacy 4) Click Camera under App Permissions 5) Click Change under Camera access for this device 6) In the pop-up window, press the Slide switch to set it to the "on" position. 7) Tap the slide switch under "Allow apps to access your camera" to set it to the "On" position. "Application Permissions" 9) Click "Change" under "Microphone access for this device" 10) In the pop-up window, click the slide switch to set it to "On" 11) Tap the slide switch under "Apps access Allow on your microphone” to set it to "On”. When I got my hands on the camera, I was able to appreciate it correctly. The frame rate is acceptable. Image quality is a bit grainy, especially in low light. The light sensitivity is quite high, so don't use this camera with a window behind you, especially on a sunny day. There is a bit of video lag, but I haven't seen a USB webcam that doesn't have this drawback. I found three applications from Logitech to set up this camera: Logitech Camera Settings, Logitune and LGHUB. I like LGHUB best because it has a variable sharpness setting that reduces the graininess of an image if you reduce it a bit. Overall, although the camera could be better, I'm happy with this camera. That's more than enough for video conferencing, which is what I'll be using it for.
