We purchased this stainless steel spout to replace the old plastic spout on a durable, reusable 3 gallon jug The old spout was leaking through the gasket inside the spout, not the gasket around the hole in the glass We removed the old spout, measured the hole to replace it and this new stainless steel spout is very durable and fits perfectly , no leaks in or around the hole!So far we're very satisfied and think it's a worthwhile investment if you're looking to replace a plastic or leaking spout.
