As in the photo in the addendum - The weight of the Blue Yeti microphone falls on the support plug. Causes the microphone assembly to hang (dangle) at a 45 degree angle. The eye fork failed (broke) immediately upon tightening the T-handle. A trip to the hardware store (6mm x 1), nut, bolt and washers, + epoxy fixed the jack plug issue. Note: The male connector is not needed when the microphone is on the telescopic pole. If the boom is articulated, the fork-fork is reduced to nothing. Hello FanBelt32
