Review on BougeRV 180 Watts Mono Solar Panel, 12 Volts Monocrystalline Solar Cell Charger High Efficiency Module For RV Marine Boat Off Grid by Kevin Compton

Its a good panel at a good price

BougeRV is a good brand. I have 2 of these 180W panels now and have them mounted on a pivoting bracket so I can at least manually track the sun. On a sunny clear day, each of the panels will pull in around 130W. Not as much as I had hoped for, but efficiency percentage is still better than my other brand of panels. These things are sturdy. The MC4 connecting cables are about 3 ft. long making it easier to reach the next panel to hook up in series. The cons: These are not packaged very well. Both of the panels had damage on a corner of the aluminum frame from shipping. It was an easy fix to straighten out. I contacted BougeRV about this and they offered me a small discount, which I accepted. Also, after the first time to disconnect, I noticed that one of the screw-on caps on one of the MC4 connectors was stripped and wasn't tightening all the way, which would have made it waterproof. I had to cut the connector off and replace it with a new one.
