Great device. Works great as a standalone or Wiegand. looks well made and durable. Some things to note: 1. There is no LED control for Wiegand operation. So if you need one, find another (more expensive Wiegand-only) unit. 2. Since the device is designed for offline/wiegand dual purpose, you'll get what looks like a rejected read (I can't remember if it's buzzing, but I know it's flashing red) - but that's only true , if you use it in Wiegand mode. You will actually be rejected by the built-in card database without knowing that you are presenting valid credentials. You can easily add all your cards to the internal database. Yes, it's a lot of work, especially if you were planning to use it for Wiegand, and even worse if you have a lot of them.3. In addition, since there is no light or buzzer control line, the operation is completely silent when used only as a pad in Wiegand (I would recommend adding a buzzer or something about the door control) 4. Came with 2 access cards.5. In complete darkness, the keys are not legible because the backlight is only outside the keys.
