The Airex "Fitline 180" Fitness Mat is a very nice fitness mat. I had no issues or concerns relative to quality, construction, finish, etc. The "Charcoal" color is nondescript and will not stand out, which is good for a lot of guys. The 23.5" width is fairly standard, and the 3.3lb weight is manageable. As a man, the 71" length was very good for me as many other mats are simply too short. In terms of thickness, the 0.4" is fine for many yoga poses and floor exercises. Some folks do prefer a thinner mat for yoga, but I do not. I have bad knees and appreciate the thicker pad. This pad is kind of an "in between" compromise between many yoga (generally 1/8" to 1/4") and general fitness mats (1/4" to 1/2"). This pad is also good for sit-ups, crunches, leg lifts, and other body-weight style exercises. It is also a very good mat for basic stretching and flexibility movements. While I had zero issues with those activities, I do recommend that you carefully consider this mat when purchasing. If you plan to use this for any exercises involving free weights (dumbbells, kettle bells, etc.) you may find that the thickness and cushion of the mat allows for too much instability. Grip with the Airex was not a concern and I noted no slippage during use.So why only 3 stars? Two reasons:1) Lack of Convenience. This mat did NOT include any kind of 'keeper' straps or carrying strap. This is a huge inconvenience when storing it, as the mat wants to unroll. It also makes traveling with this mat a non-option.2) Unusually High Price. The current price on this ($70) is eye-opening, to say the least. There are MANY mats of similar quality and material being offered for less than 1/3 the price of this mat, and those usually have the aforementioned strap that Airex does not include/offer. From research, I have been unable to determine what makes this mat stand out from the others to the extent that it would sell for such a premium. And while I know Best Buy prices can vary and fluctuate, I feel this is extremely high. While it is certainly a quality product, I simply cannot recommend the Airex mat over other products at this time given the two factors mentioned above.
