Review on πŸ”₯ Sharper Image SI-770 Steam Iron and Fabric Steamer: Compact, White - Ultimate Wrinkle Remover for Clothes by Matt Hamilton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good steamer for small appliances and accessories

This steamer heats up very quickly and puts out a lot of steam. It has to be moved slowly over the hanging object to really iron out the creases, but it does its job well. It puts out so much vapor that I wish the water tank in the unit was a little bigger for those big vaping jobs. I've used it to deaden the creases on some new curtains and I'm very happy with the results. Attached before and after photos. The wrinkle-free side hangs down and looks a lot better, they even close nice and tight. The curtains are very large and took about 3 tanks of water to dampen on each side (and I can see a few creases that I missed on one side). The steamer stayed hot for about 3 hours and steamed well while I steamed the curtains. . (pausing in the middle to take a picture) The steamer is light enough that my hand doesn't turn to the jelly and the fold down handle on the steamer really helped, it's not just a gimmick. The water filler is quite small and I had water on the table when I filled the steamer (I turned it off and unplugged it to fill it up). The included plastic measuring cup can be used but is easy to fill into the tank as the glass holds exactly 1 tank of water. Therefore, even if there is some water in the tank, overfilling may occur. I gave it 5 stars because it's really powerful for its size, easy to use and does its job well. In addition, it heats up well and quickly. Filling the water tank is a minor annoyance that I can ignore and it's common on this type of device.
