My 7 year old chose this for his iPad. It is very durable and the rubber feels comfortable. Dropped many times with no problem. The only downside is that the plastic screen has streaks that create an iridescent reflection. I tried cleaning it but it looks like a factory defect. She likes the "rainbow" look, but as an adult it will be annoying. In addition, the rear support is very difficult for a child to open. I am constantly asked to post something. I didn't get it wet as there are holes in the case so it appears splash proof rather than waterproof. In general I am satisfied with the cover for my child. As an adult, I would look for something better.
