Turned this into a Lichtenberg fractal wood burning machine. I ended up attaching a set of heavy duty alligator clips to the wires with two nails to act as probes. Be careful if you use it like me, 10k volts is very serious. Also, make sure you use it in a well-ventilated area. If you use it like I did and find it doesn't work, there's a good chance you have the wrong water to baking soda ratio. You have to play with both the mixture and the amount of moisture on the wood to get it burning just right. There are many helpful videos on YouTube.
