Bought this camera to do covert surveillance (for the cleaning lady, babysitter, etc.) in the office and at home when needed. Such cameras have been around for a while, but they were generally obvious and the video quality was poor. This camera looks like a charger. The lens doesn't really look like a lens. Rather a non-illuminating LED. One might wonder what it is, but it's by no means flashy. The camera also included covers for the microSD slot. The idea is that you install the card, close the slot and no longer remove the cover. Once the cover is in place, it is very difficult or impossible to know if there is a card slot on the "charger". Video quality is pretty good, even in low light. The IR transmitter is missing here for obvious reasons, so the camera should only work with ambient light. What lets this camera down is the app. Motion or sound detection isn't available, so it either records all the time or not at all. Other than that, the app is functional and it's really easy to connect the camera to the router and watch the video anywhere. I hope they continue to develop the camera app and firmware and at least add motion detection in the future. So far, the camera is sufficient for my purposes.
