Used it to attach to my own trunk
Attached the CB antenna to my Thule trunk. It worked great. Had to sand down the attached metal bracket and then had to sand down the antenna as the trunk is not grounded. I did this with a braided copper wire attached to the car electronics ground wire. Worked as advertised. I grounded the antenna and checked it with an SWR meter. All things are checked.
