Review on JBL FLIP 5 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Squad (Renewed) by Shawn Xayamonty

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Flip 5 sounds great with powerful sound

This JBL Flip 5 sounds great across all genres and has powerful sound. I bought a Revain refurbished product and it looks brand new and sounds great. The Flip 5's sound is solid and you can really hear the bass. The highs are slightly different. In addition, the mids are slightly emphasized and the bass is clearly emphasized. (JBL sound signature) I can understand why JBL didn't use stereo drivers (Flip 4) but instead used a single (mono) more powerful driver. Small stereo speakers won't make a difference in an open field, at a BBQ, or at a small party where people are chatting along with other outside noise. Images on such sites will not catch your eye. Instead, JBL used a more powerful single driver. The result is clean, clear sound with great bass. Here's a tip: use Dolby Atmos or something similar to open up the sound a bit. Some people have complained that it doesn't have a microphone, input, or the ability to connect to other vintage JBL speakers. These articles are irrelevant to me. As such, it's a solid purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a portable entertainment speaker with solid sound and deep, punchy bass. Flip 5 rules. 🎶👍
