Review on Tourmaline Titanium 5000 Hair Dryer by BaBylissPRO by Courtney Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good reliable dryer. the best hair dryers

I've had hair dryers from both ends of the spectrum, $10 drugstore and $300 "professional" types. I recently got a great deal on the T3 Featherweight 2 and loved it, BUT. It was really big, the concentrator nozzle rotated without being held in place, and I just didn't think the results were worth the price, even at the deal. This one caught my eye - after a week of use I have to say I love it and the results on my straight Asian hair are comparable to T3. While I certainly wouldn't pay the $99 retail price for it, I think it's a good solid dryer at this price point, a few steps up from the dryers you see in the $25-$40 range. It's fairly quiet, light weight, smaller, dries hair effectively, and consistently seems to deliver the results you'd expect from a tourmaline ionizer hair dryer - shine, low frizz, sealed ends. I wish the concentrator nozzle was just as nice and white, but at least it doesn't rotate. One star off for the mismatched attachment and no storage bag - at this price and MSRP I expect a few more bells and whistles.
