Sufficient material for a mouse pad. However, your mouse and mouse pad must be synergistic and work together! For example, if your mouse is a bit heavy and the table surface under the pad is too smooth and slippery, the mouse pad will either slide on the table or the pad will create too much friction - I've experienced that with my heavy Bluetooth mouse (Azio RM-RCM -L-03 Retro Classic Mouse, Artisan).
