Sufficient material for a mouse pad. However, your mouse and mouse pad must be synergistic and work together! For example, if your mouse is a bit heavy and the table surface under the pad is too smooth and slippery, the mouse pad will either slide on the table or the pad will create too much friction - I've experienced that with my heavy Bluetooth mouse (Azio RM-RCM -L-03 Retro Classic Mouse, Artisan). In that case, you'd be much better off without a mouse pad; Otherwise, it may put too much pressure on your wrist. Overall the pad is ok though, functional enough if your mouse needs a pad.
