I'm a big Dewalt fan. The plastic housing that connects the rotating cylinder to the glue hoses broke after about 16 uses. That's 16 separate deductions. While I'm sure it's also used to apply construction adhesive, I've used it to seal aluminum window film where it meets brickwork. I will say that this works exactly as intended. Complaints about not being able to stop sealant/adhesive from dripping are more likely to have to do with the temperature and consistency of the material you're applying.
