This SHOULD be a good way to get all my photos off my iPad onto my desktop. But…. The "program" is not easy to understand or use. I could handle it, but when I plugged the USB end into my desktop via the USB port on my display (I have an HP all-in-one desktop), I was able to put files in the file manager: files on device glow up and goes out, then the device disappears from FM. Worse, after trying to deal with it for about 15 minutes, I found that the entire side of my monitor it was plugged into was EXTREMELY hot! Seriously hot. This has not happened with any other use of the USB ports on the side of the screen. As a result, the device is buggy or has terrible software. I can't believe this is certified by Apple.
