I recently upgraded the SSD in my laptop but didn't know what to do with the old NVMe stick as nothing else I had could use it. Then I discovered this. Very easy to install, spare screws and screwdriver included. Rugged metal body that withstands multiple accidental drops from your pocket. Not as fast as a direct connection, but that's to be expected. has a USB-C to USB-A connector for compatibility with older hardware, but that's no big deal. Another small issue I noticed is the passive cooling vents on the top that allow water to enter. I accidentally left flash drives in my back pocket and they sometimes go through the wash. Normal discs usually work fine if left to dry completely, but I'm not sure if this will survive. I admit that this is a very personal issue that probably doesn't apply to you. All in all, it's a quick and easy way to turn a replacement SSD into a new portable drive.
