Attention parents. Our 7 month old had it for about two weeks with normal play - picking up, licking, trying to eat etc. Today we noticed a black coating on his mat. It took me a minute to realize it was coming from this toy. If you look closely at the photos, you can see the remains around the central rim. I decided to open it up (okay, I ripped it apart instead) and found the source - a black magnet (or whatever). no Of course if someone else has experienced this or this is an isolated situation but I wanted the parents to know. Luckily my son didn't swallow any of it.
