You have to stretch hard.
I had a hard time putting them on my 4 year old. They are not very elastic and we are very tight. Her other signature tights are softer and stretchier than these. But I assume they are durable/difficult to use. They served their purpose but if she needs to wear that color again I'll find another pair.

- Sooooo tight on my very skinny daughter. Doesn't stretch and is uncomfortable around the waist.
